で、そのKnittersのBloodshotから出たトリビュート盤「Poor Little Knitter on the Road: A Tribute to the Knitters」99年（98年だったかもしれない。いま手元にジャケない）。オリジナル全曲を同じ曲順で並べた上に、The Knitters自らが新曲で参加。メンツはいつもの、Trailer Bride、Whiskeytown、Old 97's（Jon Doe参加）、Handsome Family、Kelly Hogan、Sadies、Robbie Fulksとかまあ、その辺。FreakwaterのCatherine IrwinとTexas RubiesのJane Baxter-Millerが、それぞれバラでゲスト参加したトラックもあります。こちらは、各バンドいつもの調子でありますが、いつもより諧謔多めかと。
